In "Jersey Girl," Ben Affleck stars as Ollie Trinke, a charming and successful music publicist who appears to have it all together. He's married to May (Liva Taylor), his high school sweetheart, and they're expecting their first child. However, life takes an unexpected turn when May dies suddenly in childbirth, leaving Ollie to raise their newborn daughter, Gertie, on his own. As Ollie navigates the challenges of single fatherhood, he's forced to confront his own immaturity and lack of emotional intelligence. Despite his best efforts to be a good parent, he struggles to connect with Gertie and understand her needs.
